You buy a program for older Mac's that lets you run Windows programs on a Mac. You may have to buy added disk drives depending on the model you buy. Especially if you are interested in games, this will run slower than direct operation.
If you have a Mac made recently with Intel Inside, then you buy a copy of Windows and install it so you can switch between the two.
PC's are so cheap, it may be better to buy a PC compatible with what you want to do (games, word processing.)
The Mac is a good machine and is better than a PC for certain tasks.

If you have 1 of the newer Intel Macs, you can download a program called "bootcamp" which will let you run Windose on it.
But you cant load the PC OS on a Mac machine.

You must have a Mac with an Intel processor, not a PowerPC one.
If you want to use Windows you will also need to purchase many 3rd party add-ons to make it safe to use on the internet. You will need something to protect you from adware, trojans, spyware and adware. You will also need to defragment your disk often - its better to buy a professional tool so that you can schedule this task automatically.

You can't convert your Mac to Windows. You can use emulator software to emulate a windows environment or use Bootcamp to dual boot.

boot camp is a program that enables you to do that... if you have a core duo mac, you can emulate windows inside mac os X
