Well since its about 93 million miles from the earth to the sun, and the speed of light is about 186,000 miles per second we know that it takes light about 500 seconds to go from the sun to the earth. That's 8 minutes and 20 seconds. So my guess is that if the sun goes out we will know pretty fast. Then we will all freeze and die.

It's not exactly a bulb that it will "switch off". As a star, eventually it will die out in a couple of million years but not before engulfing the whole solar system in a supernova explosion! If there is still life they won't freeze but will be instantly evaporated along with the planet!

If the sun stopped working, while we were waiting for total destruction, we'd probably be stubbing our toes in the dark all over the place.

If the sun switched off, you would be dead in about 10 minutes.

It would have to be God who allowed the switch off. Either way, God is still in control. PEACE!!!

And the logos on my computer here are made by adobe illustrator and not me?
Just because you find the method doesn't mean there's no designer behind it.

Only 99.9% of it. Some lifeforms exist on the energy from geothermic vents. They would be the only lifeform to survive.
