I went out with a guy a few weeks ago. Had a nice time, but got a bit too drunk. I've stayed in contact with him and we seem to talk about anything part from the time we went out. I'm of the opinion that he wants to be friends (which I wonldn't mind) so I've been talking to him like a friend and I think he has been doing the same. I've even told him that I was going out with someone else the next night (this was last weekend) I mentioned it was because he never asked me out again (jokingly but it was true!). He said that he does like me but I got a bit too drunk. However, when I was out on my date, he texted me at 1.30 in the morning to see if I was awake. On monday he asked me out for that evening. I couldn't go that night but suggested this Friday instead. Since then I haven't heard a word.
What's going on? I would like to see how things went with him as he's a nice guy and we get on but I wouldn't mind just being friend either.

I'd say wait until Friday. Keep your evening open, but maybe have a plan B. If you don't hear from him before you go out, don't answer his call or text.

playing it cool i'd say.......just wait for the call 2m...if you dont hear from him then just txt and ask if you're still on for the night...if he dsnt reply: go out with your girlfriends and 4get him!
