I personally like to use www.Fitday.com because it doesn't just tell me the calories I am taking in, it also gives a nutritional breakdown and helps to track specific nutrients to help me identify where I am not meeting the RDA.
Plus Fitday also provides a few other cool features like how many calories you are burning so you can compare the intake v/s the burn. You can also use the journaling feature and make your info public so you can develop a buddy group for support.

One of the best databases is from the USDA. Go to www.mypyramid.gov - find out where you belong for calories based on fitness, age and sex, then click on the mypyramid tracker - and assess your food intake...it will give you all the info you want for lots of different foods.
