What do you eat when you want a protein snack later on in the evening OR afternoon? Going without didn't work for me!! I thought of nuts, crackers & cheese, peanut butter, yogurt. Is there anything else? Packaged stuff is fine, low-fat, preferably.
Serious answers only, anything else will be rated "thumbs down".

THX!

For a great list of things to snack on, I suggest looking at three different things:

(1) Beach Body workout series - they have great meal plans listed and an awesome website, the WOWY working network where you can talk to people too
(2) The Atkins and South Beach diets - they have more stuff listed there and can be used as meal planners
(3) I like what you listed personally

I eat low cal yogurt for an afternoon snack. I also eat crackers and low fat peanut butter if I feel I need the extra protein.

If you like tuna fish- try a small can of solid white packaged in water. It is very filling. Also you can consider keeping rotisserie chicken on hand. I buy the whole bird from the supermarket, take the skin off and cut it into smaller pieces. When cravings hit, a few pieces usually hit the spot. If you package it in small ziplock bags, you can control portions better, plus the bags will help keep it fresher longer.

Everything else you listed above are good. Just watch the fat and sugar content.

I will either make myself a PBJ (low cal, high fiber bread - 70 cal, 6g fiber, then a tbsp of peanut butter and a tbsp of low sugar strawberry jam), or make a salad and stick some turkey or a hard-boiled egg on top.

Don't forget that rice and beans are a complete protein, and high in fiber. I usually work out in the afternoons, and that's when I can afford some extra carbs.

String cheese

Celery & peanut butter

Those little pre-packaged chicken strips are good, too!
