Just because you are in the Seminary, does not mean that you have no moral obligation to leave if you feel you are not being called.
The Catholic Church need good Priests, and the long Seminary program is designed that way to weed out the ones that really do not have the call to serve.
Pray about it, spend some time in Adoration, and talk with your adviser's, they are there to help you.
Take time to listen to what God wants you to do!
Good Luck and God Bless you always!
Peace!

Well, when I as a youngster, I was able to do hat I wanted and now that I am old, I would have liked to keep on doing what I wanted but responsibility stepped into my life. Naw, that's what the world wants to hear, the truth is we can always do what we want as long as we play by the rules and does the Seminary teach you the rules of God and man? If so, keep on learning because when you stop learning and play by your rules, that's when responsibility steps in. If the Seminary tells you there is no leeway to the rules, leave because its not teaching the ruler makers one axiom, two wrongs do not make a right. Oh, and few ever know what they want to do with their lives, but serving God through Jesus directly does seem to be Ideal doesn't it?

i understand a guy who attended Catholic seminary for 6 years, with a view to starting to be to be a clergyman, yet interior the top never took the vows. while he suggested he did no longer experience top approximately it, the seminary artwork stress have been fairly supportive and information, and have been adamant that he shouldn't take the vows earlier he felt waiting. in spite of the shown fact that, i do no longer understand no rely if this style of seminary could settle for an enrolment from a pupil who began without purpose of taking the vows yet in basic terms needed a theological degree. it may rely on why the qualification become needed and what occupation plans the pupil did have.

i would love to Fulfill a Seminary training experience.
but i once heard about a seminary student who "woke" up one night while his priesthood mentor was Raping Him. the news and testimony was on live Radio news broadcast back in the late 1980's
its up to you! you have to BELIEVE you are called to be a priest. I know i had One vision that clearly said I was called to be a priest, and i was in the presense of Jesus christ. I only wish i could overcome all the deceitful practices of the fallen angels and the evils of devil worshippers. It hurts to believe i am worthy enough to receive such glorious visions but not worthy enough to SAY NO when Im Dreaming. Although I have experience enough to say NO most of the time, there is still the sorcery of mesmerization and satan ability to beguile and hypnotize his prey.

If you don't know what you want, talk to someone first. If you went to a seminary to begine with, you might be called to serve the Lord. Leaving once you are called will leave your life empty. Talk to your spiritual director about your feelings.

I second Father K's opinion.
One thing to consider: if the priesthood or the diaconate are still things you are clinging to as a potential vocation, then leaving would be unwise to act hastily - it isn't like the bishop is laying his hands on you tomorrow, and you'd probably be losing your only shot at it. After all, Holy Orders is a privilege and a faithful obligation, and not an entitlement (as I am sure you know.)

It isn't good to do anything without fist seeking God's direction. Obviously you are interested in following God or you wouldn't be in Siminary anyway. Pray, and seek God's answer.

It's just as important to know what you don't want to do.
