would my insurance cover it, or hers? I'm not talking about an accident, looks like someone hit it in the parking lot.

Insurance follows the car, not the driver. If you were driving with permission her insurance, not yours, will cover.

Morally however, I'd offer to pay for damages since it happened on your watch. Otherwise she may see an increase in her premiums. Plus it would only be covered if she has full coverage, and less her deductible if any.

If someone else hit it in a parking lot, while properly parked, it is not your fault. However, how long do you want to keep this friend? If it is inexpensive to fix it, I would offer to pay for it. If it turns out to be several hundred dollars, call your insurance agent. He/she will be able to tell you if your policy will cover it, or if you need to file on your friend's policy. If you file on the friend's policy, pay the deductible for them. After all, they were willing to let you use their car.

Their's would. Your insurance would only apply as excess if he didn't have enough coverage. You should pay the deductible as the car was in your care and control at the time.

Well, technically you are responsible. She may have her insurance company fix it, but you can be sure of a lawsuit to recover damages.

You could file a claim, but your insurance is sure to increase.

You might just want to get some estimates and pay out of pocket.
