Any locksmith worth his salt should be able to make one with the codes. If you already have the code all that is necessary is look up the cuts and cut the key. If you don't have the code, the door lock must be removed to obtain it. If the smith cannot cut by code, simply make a key for the door lock. Problem solved.

Have you tried contacting Ford Motors directly to ask for a resource? Also, there may be an antique Ford collectors or afficionados club in your area (or a national organization) that actually owns a machine or who can tell you who does.

If you have AAA, all them and tell them you lost your keys. A mobile locksmith will come out and make one for you on the spot and its covered by AAA. oterwise the cost may be up to $50 but you wont have to remove the key cylinder.
If you want to take the key cylinder to a locksmith, the can make youa key for around $30

40 year old codes? Good luck!
You'd be better off calling a locksmith and letting him make you a new door key and trunk key.
A good locksmith can do this in 30 min or less and the cost would be about $100.

You need to check with a vintage restoration shop, dealers cannot help in this instance. Look around your area or online for places that deal with classic and antique cars, their restoration and sale, and inquire with them. They can point you in the right direction.
