I don't think D200 will give a class result in hordings. It's only 10+ megapixels and the sensor is half in size. The full frame sensor camera Canon 5D gives more than an average quality but not a perfect result in hording. You should shoot in RAW files and convert it to TIFF in 350dpi and in 16 bits not in 8 bits. You can make a small hording with that result. A full frame sensor and a half frame sensor give two different results even if they are the same MP cameras.

Shooting in RAW is the best way to take a photo. As it is an uncompressed image. You want to convert in into a TIFF (wich is also an uncompresssed image) If you are sending it to labs, or publications. From my experince Most publications want atleast a 5 MB file with at least a dpi of 300.

Most world class photos that are displayed come from a TIFF file. (when its digatl)If you use JPEG it is more pixelated and grainy since its a compressed image. Everytime you open and resave a JPEG you loose information with the picture.

I always shoot in RAW then convert to TIFF for best results.

Whats hoarding?

Besides RAW you can shoot Large & Fine and when download to the computer, convert them to 11x14 and 300 dpi, either Tiff or PSD, you can hoard them in a folder each image will be apprx. 44MB.

I have enlarge pictures to 30x40" with no apparent pixelatiion
