take thinly sliced beef- place a strip of bacon on it, roll it up- secure with a toothpick and broil in the oven until done- depends on the thickness of the meat- also you can buy little filets and wrap a slice of bacon around them as well and cook on e foreman grill. Yum!
Also, this is really good too-
INGREDIENTS
16 large headless shrimp
8 slices bacon
barbeque seasoning, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Wrap a shrimp with 1/2 slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Be sure and use the large shrimp; the cooking time for the shrimp and the bacon is similar. If you do use mediums, you might want to precook the bacon a little--over cooked shrimp are tough and rubbery, and a real sin!
Line a pan (15x18x1 inch baking pan) with aluminum foil and place baking rack in pan. Place the shrimp on the rack, and sprinkle with barbecue seasoning to taste; turn and sprinkle second side. Set aside for 15 to 20 minutes while the oven preheats. The bacon will turn from creamy white to a little opaque, and the seasoning will soak in.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Bake wrapped shrimp in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes. The bacon should be crisp, and the shrimp pink and tender.
The rack keeps the shrimp from sitting in the draining bacon fat.
Hope you like!!!

This recipe sounds awful, but it tastes amazing and is so filling. I grew up on it and my mom always called it Halushka. I, too, crave bacon sometimes and this does it for me.
Peel and grate 2-3 russet potatoes in a food processor. Add i egg, salt, pepper and enough flour to make a soft dough. Add the dough by small spoonfuls into a pot of boiling water and cook until they float - then drain.
Meanwhile, dice up half a pound of bacon and fry, saving the grease.
Put the potato dumplings in a large bowel, add the bacon, a tablespoon of butter, about 2 tablespoons of the bacon drippings and a bit more than a cup of small-curd cottage cheese. Mix gently until combined and serve hot.
You cannot save this for reheating later.
Like I said, it sounds disgusting, but it tastes marvelous and is a true comfort food.

Even bacon grease is awesome to cook with.
The best is the first piece you eat while your pan frying the rest of the package.
