Why couldn't I be both?

Better to be honest. Why would you need to be right all the time? If you know the value of humility then you'll be right more often anyway!

Honestly, I think it would depend a little on the situation. Generally speaking I'd rather be honest, but there is a possibility that in some situation I'd rather be right.

You should always be honest. Being honest doesn't always mean that you are right, because you could be giving an honest opinion, which by it's very definition is neither right nor wrong.

Honest is right, dishonest is wrong. If I'm in a situation where I feel I can't be honest I say nothing.
