Early 20's, lost 70+ pounds in 6 months, I eat MAYBE once a week just because I start to feel dizzy, I drink about 6 cups of coffee a day because i get so tired, my hair has been falling out but I had extremely thick hair to start with so I'm not too worried about that, I am 5'5" and 115 pounds. When I look in the mirror I still see fat. It's everywhere. I workout every night. I'm consumed with my weight. Medication started this and now i can't stop it! help!

Even if you had very thick hair....its falling out and that is a very serious sign there is somehting really wrong with your body right now. If you only eat MAYBE once a week, when doctors say you should eat 5 small meals a day to keep a healthy metabolism......use your noodle. Chronic anemia leads to leucemia, lack of calcium leads to brittle bones and that is just a couple of things that can happen to you. I'd suggest you don't wait around and go see a doctor.

Your hair is falling out because your body is not getting the nutrition it needs. Eating once a week is definitely not a good thing. Your body is using up all the stored fat and eventually will start using your muscle mass for energy as well.
While you were overweight 70 pounds ago, you are not anymore.Your weight right now is within the recommended limits for your height, but not by much. You are almost in the underweight category.Your body mass index(BMI) is 19.1, anything under 18.5 is not good, so you are on the edge)
In order to maintain your healthy weight you need to eat several small meals daily.
Talk to your Dr. about seeing a nutritionist. They can give you a menu to maintain(no gaining but definitely not losing)
You are not dangerously thin at this time, so you are not in danger of being put in the hospital.. Just do something about it now, before it gets worse.
Good Luck!

You're in trouble physically. Your hair may never come back, and you could be headed for life in a wheelchair or much worse if you continue to abuse yourself this way.

Yes, you really have a problem. You need to get medical attention right now. Leave your computer and call a doctor.

In order for your body to finction properly, you need to eat healthy foods at regular intervals throughout the day. The reason you see fat is because although you are exercising, your body isnot getting enough nutrients and so it has started eating its own muscle for survival! You will keep going this way until there is so little left, your body cannot support you, and you will either die or be confined to a nursing home. I am sure that is not what you want.

i dont think the coffee is helping. if you cut down to 1 or 2 cups a day itt can help. and healthy food energizes you as a good substitute! maybe fruit daily and protien from meats and breads can help. your not 100% but a diet change can really help dizziness and discomfort.
