Is it possible to overflow an electromagnetic relay? i mean to send a a high power circuit to a low power circuit by an accident or on purpose? Known accidents? And what are the best practices to avoid that. Thanks.

If you drive a relay at it's rated working voltage then unless it goes seriously wrong it won't connect the coil to any other part of the circuit. If you exceed any ratings then the coil might melt or the contacts fuse together or burn out.

If your high power voltage were greater than that for which the relay is rated, one could get arcing from one circuit to the other.
