i kind of know what your feeling. when i was 16 i fell for a 30 yr. old guy. we didn't mind the age difference, but it can lead to some trouble especially if your parents don't approve of him.

he could be having some feelings but are you sure they're mutual? he even could be worried about your age. just be up front with him and ask him if he's having problems with the age difference.

What you are feeling isn't something new, nevertheless ...

THE PROBLEM IS .... if he feels the same and is stupid enough to act upon those feeling he's looking at - at least 10 YEARS BEHIND BARS for statutory RAPE!!!

Sweety, he may be good looking and mature in your eyes but if you are really in love with him you will leave him alone and not cause him to do something he will later regret. If the "love" you are talking about is true then he will wait for you until you turn 18 and you will wait for him and then AT THAT TIME see if the feelings are still there.

It would be better to find yourself someone that is your age or a year or older.

Usually age is just a number but is usually between two consenting ADULTS. That doesn't FIT IN THIS TYPE OF SITUATION.

Try to get your parents consent and see what THEY say about their 16 year old dating a 30-something year old man. - Yeah right!

First..WAITE untill the legal age for you state. If you REALLY love him you will waite. My guy is 23 years younger and we have a WONDERFUL relationship now for 2 and 1/2 years. I see same age relationship that fail all of the time, just look around. I feel that it is the individuals personalities that work together or not. The age has its factors but so do all relationships. PLEASE waite.. It was worth it for me! Then you need to make sure he treats you well, that would be my advise. No matter the age that comes first. And people need to be more open minded, they don't know what they are missing by staying in their bubble. Good luck!

You could definitely get the guy sent to prison...is that what you want? Stay away from him until you are 18....legal age...then if you still feel the same way...go for it.

Yes its a problem. The maturity level is way different and so are interests in things. And plus he could get sent to prison even if there is consent.

Its not a problem. If you are in love with someone go for it. My cousin was 19 when she met her now 55 year old fiance

That is really bad you need to find someone your own age. That is against the law for him to go out with you.

I would say the only problem is when you get older and he has health issues.

It will not work... You need to live your life first... you will understand the reason much later on in your life...

well, for one, he will constantly be thinking that you will leave him for somebody younger. he may also at some point find someone more his age and leave you.
