I would set the oven at 425 to 450 depending on your oven. Set the pan on the middle rack and cover the pan with foil when the meat is nearly done. The time depends on the weight of the meatloaf. I would try 30 to 40 minutes a pound to start than adjust this according to how well you want the meat cooked. Let it cool a short time before slicing so does not"t break apart while cutting.

Good luck.

I think 375 is the ideal temp for meatloaf. I also spread mine out in a 9x13 baking dish so it cooks in half the time! Usually about 45 min. for 1 1/2 lbs. Good luck :)

THE STANDARD TEMPERATURE FOR BAKING MEAT IS 180ºC (ABOUT 320 TO 350 F).
DEPENDING ON HOW COOKED YOU LIKE THE MEAT IT WILL TAKE BETWEEN 50 TO 80 MINS TO GET DONE. I USUALLY LEAVE IT FOR 60 MINS AS I LIKE IT A LITTLE PINK ON THE INSIDE.
OF COURSE IT DEPENDS ON EACH OVEN AND ON THE CUT OF MEAT YOU ARE USING. SOME CUTS ARE TENDER THAN OTHERS.
TENDERNESS MEANS THAT THE MEAT CUT HAS LESS FIBER INSIDE THE MUSCLES SO THE MEAT CELLS BREAK EASILY WHEN HEATED- THE MORE FIBER THE MUSCLE HAS THE LONGEST IT WILL TAKE FOR IT TO BREAK.
