In Naples and it was felt 60 miles north and 40 miles south of there- it was said to be an Earthquake- yet recounted.
No one is talking! It was a sonic boom for sure. That is a positive. FROM WHAT?

It rocked the house like an earthquake, nothing fell off the walls- but you get the idea. It wasn't a bus or plane going by- it was from the ground.

I live in central Florida and I know that back in Sept. an earthquake hit in the Gulf of Mexico that rocked Fl,Ga,La, Ms, and Al. Could this possibly be an earthquake that hit in the water as it did then? Not sure if it's not that. I haven't heard anything about a sonic boom on TV or anywhere else. When did this happen?

Details please about where and when you heard the Sonic Boom! East coast, west coast, Daytona, Orlando, Miami? Large? Small? Earthquake or not?
Usually before in the past it's been F-18's going to military bases. But there are also Earthquake events that cause the sonic booms as well.

If could have been anything. Remember that sometimes atmospheric conditions can reflect sonic booms hundreds of miles. (So it could have been a military jet off the coast.)

hey i am in pcb florida and i felt it too it freaked me out i thought it was a jet or something but i heard nothing on the news or in the paper i am glad you posted this i thought i was losing it.....when it happened my 2 year old daughter jumped about a foot and said "mama gonna get me " i looked all around out side and saw nothing if you find out anything e-mail me please
