No that is not true, because fruit contains sugar and water basically no nutrional value. You body needs, protien and carbohydrates to properly function. If you think starving yourself of eating only fruits and vegetables you will be sadly dissapointed, you will loose some weight but you will not be happy with the outcome. Everyone wants quick fixes to get rid of the extra pounds. Think of it this way if it took you gradually over time to put the weight on it is probably going to take the same amount of time. You need to be consistant with diet and exercise to shed the unwanted pounds, of course there is every type of gimmick out there that is a quick fix, I have a friend that takes diet pills. But, let me tell you with in 4 months time she put all the weight back on and then some. You basically destroy your metabolism it is like trying to make and engine run on water instead of oil so eating like that is highly uneffective and will only hurt you. Be paitient and work hard you will be gratified by the results.

The question was only for DINNER. So if you eat your protein and veggies during the day and have only a little bit of fruit for DINNER than its ok. If you have consumed your recommended daily intake of a healthy nutritional diet than its ok. As long as you don't gourge on the fruit or eat the fruit with the highest carb content it's ok.
People have a little fruit for breakfast so why not at night? It's also packed with vitamins, minerals, and other healthy staples that we need. If your not a diabetic that is.

Not... You should eat 2 servings of fruit a day.. maybe three for a man. You can eat as many fresh veggies as you want though! All meals should be pretty well balanced, so I would suggest that you eat meat, grains, and vegetables for dinner (NOT only fruit).

Eating only fruits is not good. You need a well balanced diet including protein, vegetables, and fiber, etc..
Eating only fruit will cause your whole system to go haywire. You blood sugar will fluctuate, you will become malnourished and probably dehydrated because a diet like that will cause you to have diarrhea.
Eat some meats and veggies!

Nope, the body needs vitiamins and minerals from alot of different sources. Also fruit has natural sugar when eaten with or after other foods is fine. But alone for a meal will cause your blood sugar to rise then drop sharply increasing hunger and other ill effects.

No, you need protein and some carbohydrates at every meal. Fruit is nothing but sugar and you will end up not losing weight and you will be so hungry.
