always talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the other point of view. it will always strengthen your argument - no one will have a rebuttal if you've already mentioned and dismissed any point they might bring up.

(if you're writing about how Leader A should have chosen Choice B, talk about the good reasons he should have chosen Choice A, but then why its still better to choose Choice B.)
