You must check the laws in your state. In some states you would be considered as getting involved in an incestuous relationship. For instance, Nevada, doesn't allow any sort of relationship among cousins, regardless if they are first or second cousins.
Other states have no limitations in regard to relationships among cousins. Go to Yahoo Search and type, "cousin marriages" you will quickly find a list of states that prohibit intimate relationship among cousins, not just marriage.

You guys are second cousins. Your family might find it odd or uncomfortable (depending on them), but it's not illegal and (in the event that this does work out, you fall in love and marry) will not cause any genetic problems with your children.

BUT SHE WAS MY THIRD COUSIN SO WE DID NOTHING!
You don't want to be kissing your third cousin. BUT I don't think third cousin relations are illegal in any state, just not cool for your family!
I noticed others saying it is your second cousin but that is not true. Your mothers cousin is your second cousin and children would be your third cousins!

Not too close I dont reckon, I could be wrong. I think that would make him ur 3rd cousin? Because your mum's cousin would be your 2nd cousin so his son would be ur 3rd I think.

not too close.....but inbreeding is not good genetically in case you decide to have offsprings....otherwise its cool...have fun...and remember theres a world full of boys/gurls out there...let cousins be cousins!
