'Saber Main' would most likely refer to a command post of some sort. The word 'Saber' would be a radio callsign used by a unit. The commander would use the callsign 'Saber 6,' the main command post would be 'Saber Main,' the rear command post would be 'Saber Rear,' etc.

Initially I thought that you were referring to a posiiton in the manual of arms for sabers, but I think that it was probably referring to the troops considered to be the main element of Operation Saber (Sabre).
