According to christian folklore and mythology, after the ascention, the followers were charged to go spread the gospel to all people in all lands. And they believe that once every person on the planet has had the chance to hear and accept or reject their faith, the end will come. OOOOooooooOOOOOOooooooOOOOH

I do not believe for a moment people will go to Hell only for not following the new testament.
I do believe people will be judged by their knowledge. If they know about the teachings in the New Testament, and choose not to try to live by their precepts, they will be judged accordingly.
If they do not know about the new Testament teachings they will be judged by the level of knowledge they have and what they do.
That said, I also believe in Christs atonement for our sins. As we all sin. If anyone is to return to where God is after this life, it is only through the grace of God. He loves all of us, and is not going to cast us out if we will live our lives the best we can according to what we know.

hey now .....that is just a scare tactic just like "be good or Santa wont come" to keep people in line...... Hell hasn't started up yet and Satan is not in charge of it...... that's where he will die.
