Providing they are cooked properly and is what it supposed to be, and not some prat of a T.V. chef's idea of what Chinese food and Plain fish & chips are, which ever you fancy. Locally our Chinese take-away is fantastic, not so the local fish & chip shop. Mind you, this might change as it's just been taken over.
It literally depends on how I feel, as to which I prefer.

Depends on what part of the country your in Fish and Chips in Yorkshire taste horrible so it has to be Chinese, but then if your at the seaside, it has to be fish and chips then.

I love a good fish and chips- which surprisingly is sometimes hard to find! But I also love chinese food.
I'd have to say Chinese because you can switch it up a lot... Lo Mein, freid rice, gen tso's, kung po, sitr fried veggies, egg rolls...soups... =)
