Life has no meaning or reason therefor you can not put a value to it, life is simply life, being a human being is where the value comes in because we can think with compassion and love, and have understanding and respect for fellow human beings, man can live without God or Christ but most people involve them because it makes them feel more secure that way that's all. God has never asked anyone to be a part of their lives he gave us free will, and just maybe we will meet him one day in the spiritual world, and who really knows we will just have to see.

I don't know what god you are talking about. There are millions of people living satisfying lives without a god. I don't believe that there is an afterlife or a god. That all there is to it. My life is wonderful. Have a great day!

The value of our lives is no different with or without Christ. To suggest that your life as a Christian has more value than a non-christian's demonstrates your hypocrisy. I thought Christ taught you to see value in all people, not to regard yourselves as superior. You obviously need to examine where this arrogance comes from and seek some humility, otherwise you are not following what you profess to follow.

I am happy with the things in my life I can control. I do my best to treat others with the love and respect I like to be treated. I do not have a lot of friends, but the ones I do have a GREAT friends that I can trust if I ever needed them for something. I value my life and all of my friends and the great times we have had and will continue to have.

So many things wrong with this question I hardly know where to start. I'll just say there is no God and I won't be meeting anyone, except maybe a friendly earthworm when I'm 6 feet under.

Life is far, far more precious when you start living it by the truth and not by the lies told by a bunch of goat herders.
Or would you have us abandon computers, electricity, phones, antibiotics, surgery (except perhaps trephanation [sp?] which is where they drill holes in your skull to let the evil spirits out), etc?
Would your life be worth more if you believed in the Invisible Pink Unicorn?

The true value of life is knowledge. Christ not withstanding.
What God and Christ want is your soul. Your Knowledge in it's unique form is contained in your soul. The fellowship of heaven is to garner your knowledge to add to theirs.
Go ahead and give it to them.

Your question assumes a few things.
1) That God & Jesus Christ exist.
2) Without them our lives have no value, and we cannot be happy or satisfied.
Really, your question is nothing but assumptions.
Don't make assumptions - learn.

Because we don't need a god to be happy with our lives.
By the way, you said Christ originally but then God... oh wait, that whole "trinity" thing...

Amen to that! And there isn't any, b/c without Him life would be lonely, misguided, and utterly hopeless. I really do love Him, He is ever present in my life and my family's.
God Bless!
