I am looking for information about the four animal-headed angels in the bible. If I recall correctly, one of the angels had the head of a lion But the rest is a bit vague in my memory.
If they had names that would be a great start, or what part of the bible can i find them, or even their significance.
Any info would be much appreciated. Thank You

In the Bible Book of Ezekiel 10:14:"And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was the face of earthling man,and the third was the face of a lion and the fourth face was the face of a eagle" (See also Rev.4:7)
These indicate that the cherubs possess God-given love(the man),justice(the lion),power(the bull) and wisdom(the eagle)

You are talking about Cherubims which are the throne guards in heaven. They have four faces i.e. Lion, Man, Eagle and Ox. They are quite significant in that they represent the types of annointing on the church. If you notice we have four gospels and the book of acts of the Holy Spirit in the apostles.
Matthew has the annointing of a lion, Mark of the ox, Luke is the Man and John is represented by the Eagle. It was also the same kind of setup when the Jews would camp on the North South.
East and West with each standard bearer having an emblem representing one of the 4 creatures and they would all encamp around the temple/ark.
The same kind of annointings have annointed the church down through the ages. The era of Paul was of the Lion annointing, and then in the dark ages the church had the Ox annointing (labored and suffered for the sake of the gospel), then came the Lutheran and John Wesley era which had the Man annointing (reasoning the word of God through reading the scriptures and correcting the errors in their time) and now we are in the Eagle annointing (pentecostal age where we soar the heavens in spirit)

The book of Revelation 4:6 and the book of Ezekial Chapter 1, I believe. My understanding is that they are symbolic of the 4 gospels. Each Gospel (matthew, mark, luke and john) addresses a different aspect of Jesus Christ...The suffering servent of Christ, the Kingship of Christ, the humanity of Christ and the Priesthood of Christ. Each of these aspects of Christ is represented by an animal. Servent =cow, humanity =man's face, Calf or bull I think = servant (beast of burden) and I can't remember the last one. Anyway, the book of Ezekial 1 is the first mention of these cheribum. The book of Revelation4:6 references them again. If I remember correctly, they travel together, the 4 together. I hope this helps in your understanding. Do a word search on "four living creatures" or "cheribum" and you should glean more information.

yes, the Holly Spirit woke me up with the four headed beast in mind. He said that these is the characteristics that Jesus walked while in while here on earth. We must humble our self to the love and power of the Holly Spirit to walk in the authority that God gave us....
