Give and take in equal proportions, of course.

It should always be 50/50 in this situation. If you are giving all the time and never taking anything back, which would mean the one you are with is taking and never giving...the relationship is totally one sided. Both people should give and take. You never want to be the one always taking....because it means you never offer anything. If you had to chose just one...be a giver, but remember, unless you are given something in return , you are in for a miserable relationship.

Giving is definitely more important. There is always going to be a person who gives and one who takes in relationships. There should be an equal balance of the two.

The most important part of love is always giving, but also remembering not to be afraid to accept it, either. Dont burn out by giving love and not accepting their return flow.

Neither: Love is a two-way street. You can't just be a taker-your partner will get fed up with giving and you can't just be a giver-your partner will drain you emotionally. Balance is the key to a healthy and happy love relationship

They are equally important. Both are required in a relationship--you can not have a successful relationship with out both--it is compromise and committment, give and take. Find someone who can accomplish this with you--and your relationship will be GOLDEN!!!

If you really love somebody it doesn't matter at all. You are just happy to give and want nothing in return. Of course it's nice if love is returned.

both are important. you need to be able to give. if its real love, you won't have a problem giving and it'll just come naturally.
you also need to be able to recieve. you need to be able to accept the fact that someone loves you and graciously recieve whatever they're giving to you.

WE CAN RECEIVE ALL THE PLEASURE WE REQUIRE JUST BY GIVING TO ANOTHER PERSON, THE KNOWLEDGE THAT WE HAVE DONE SOMETHING GOOD AND POSITIVE FOR ANOTHER. THINK OF THE JOY YOU CAN BRING TO OTHERS AND THE SMILE YO CAN PUT ON SOMEONES FACE, LISTENING TO SOMEONE ELSE'S PROBLEMS KNOWING YOU HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE.
ALL PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCES AND THE JOY IS THAT WE ALSO FEEL HAPPY.
