Oh Boy, don't it feel good, especially when the person is a dork.
Just look at them and smile knowingly, rubbing it in their face is definitely in bad taste but some people deserve it.

It's not whoops you mispelled...satisfying...it's more so a thought that crosses the mind that someone has learned and accomplished personal growth - good for them and I might have had nothing to do with it. I don't find joy in the painful process of a person's struggle although it can be saddening to watch but them realizing just means they are healing why take credit for that? If a person converses with you, you give opinion then that is that - people have free will.

I don't enjoy that moment when someone has been proved wrong, and to gloat in the moment with an "I told you so" demeans them and it demeans me. It hurts their feelings and it superficially elevates me to an tenuous position. I do not gloat, I take this as an opportunity to practice humility and keep silent.

I guess sometimes I let them know, depending on the situation. But I don't think it's really "satisfying" in any sense because misfortune is involved most of the time. Usually I only advise someone when the result of what they are about to do (or not do) will negatively affect either me or them personally. If it's something that affects me, I usually let them know that I tried to tell them. If it's something bad for them and it doesn't really affect me any, I figure there's nothing for me to say -- they're being shown ehough by the result of their choice.

As a general rule, I don't revel in someone's misfortune, whether I "told them so" or not. I would never say anything to them. Chances are they feel badly or embarrassed enough. Why rub it in? I would simply offer my help and hope they learned from the experience.

If it's someone you love and they're hurt, then you feel awful for them. If it's a boss who goes against your choice for no apparent reason, then it feels good. But gloating is not nice in any situation and karma will smack you in kind.

Oh I try to be silent, but I always throw out a "told you so!" I love it. I even do a "told you so" little dance when I'm right. It's very annoying to others....

It depends on what it is that I warned them about. If the consequences are painful & they happen to be someone I care about, then no. I just feel sadness & wish I had been more convincing.

Extremely satisfying. I prefer to do my gloating inside my own mind.
