I actually heard a young lady say this last night. Is this how we flirt now? Are you kidding me? Even the guy she was talking to was embarassed. Whatever happened to being subtle?

that's the funniest thing ive heard all day.. girls like this will never change & will always be an embarassment so just laugh at it for the humerous, rare thing it is.

First of all, you're being overly kind to refer to this sort of female as a "lady."
Subtlety doesn't work on a lot of men, and a lot of women don't know what it means to be subtle anymore, either. What this girl doesn't realize is that with a line like this, she'll only attract men who want to test her declaration...and then leave her behind after they've used her.
I have to say, though, that a lot of men do something similar with a different lure. It never, NEVER fails to amaze me that men try to attract women WAY out of their league (looks-wise) by blowing tons of cash on them...and then they wind up shocked that all they attract are golddiggers. Gee, who would have seen that one coming?!
