I believe it is, and have been doing so for about 14 years now. My kids were just about never sick, and my overall health has been much better than when I was a kid growing up. One problem we face is that we buy fresh fruits and veggies from other countries- the same countries that use the chemicals on their food that the FDA outlawed here in the USA. As a matter of fact, we supply some of those chemicals to them! I don't believe it's enough just to wash the outside off with that spray stuff from the store. When you think that fruits and veggies "eat" whatever is in the water they receive, it's easy to see how sprayed on pesticides can leach into the ground and mix with the water the plant uses. I am all for organics, buy them when I can find what I want, and encourage others to do so as well. :)
