I've held it long enough but what kind of book is the Quran? It says kill all infidels and non-believers and don't make friends with Christians (I'm one of them) and Jews because Allah doesn't guide them.
The difference between Timothy McVeigh and Osama Bin Laden is that Timothy wasn't following the Bible (at least the New Testament which we follow) and Osama Bin Laden was following the Quran.
I don't hold prejudice against Muslims and this question will probably get deleted but at least you know my thoughts right now.

The Quran is a religious book that was sent by God through Gabriel to Mohammed.
Yes, there are verses that tell Muslims to kill infidels, but the question is, WHICH infidels and why? See, there is another verse that does not allow Muslims to kill innocent people unless there was a legal reason such as murder but that needs to be thoroughly studied.
In some verses Allah told Mohammed to kill the infidels, but the infidels that Allah meant were the people who persecuted Mohammed and did not allow him to apply Islam.
And other verses till Muslims to kill those who attack them..is that wrong ?
Allah tells us not to be ALLIES with non-Muslims, allies AGAINST Islam. How can we not befriend them, if they could be our mothers,neighbors,colleuges etc.
See, extremist use the wrong interpretations of the Quran, many interpret Quran literally, see the Quran is a miracle because it is a wonder because the language was used, see each word and verse should be studied thoroughly to be understood completely, unfortunately a lot of Muslims and non-Muslims do not do that resulting with corrupted beliefs.

Quran is a holy book from Allah....but you don't get it that you can't understand the Quran well..i usually go to the exegesis because the ayah in the Quran got many mircales , many beautiful meaning and the story of each ayah makes understand the Quran well and in the end it tells the truth...about the ayahs that you said read its story and then judge...don't judge with out understanding and go to the personal life of Prophet Mohamed and you will understand everything....may Allah make you go to the right way...i forgot to osama bin ladin he understands the Quran wrong...

Quran is an arabic book.And this is totally wrong there is no where written don't make frnds with christians.And always remember this...there is no hindu christian or muslim we all r human being.
So...respect all ppl as a human being.Not by their religion.

look i am a muslim and i want to tell u that osama bin laden doesn't obey Quran because The Holly Quran didn't say to kill pepole and it respect all books cause all of this books were from the God......................so plz respect our Book and Prophet Mohamed because we respect all Prophets.

My ex-boyfriend turned to muslim teachings, he had a Koran. As far as I could understand, it is the 'bible' for Muslims. I can't say I agree with much that is in it though, it's pretty terrible. I dont hold any prejudice against them either, each to their own I think. I just dont think it is the religion for me!

i am muslim and i know everything about quran and islam but i swear there is no books in islam that told us to kill someone and i read alot of books about islam and they are just talking about peace.i swear to god and i really hate him and i don't know how could he do all theses murders and i know alot of muslims people who really hate this hatefull guy.but in the world there is alot of bad guy such as sadam and they are not all muslim.please don't think about muslims as murders or ....
and muslims beleive in Bible and all the religions but nowaday some muslims are doing something that are strange but it doesn't relate to holy Quran.

Why dont u pick up a translations of The Qur'an and read it yourself bro. Dont depend on what others tell u.

I agree, terrorists like Osama bin laden follow teachings of the quran. It is not like the bible. God and Jesus never told us to kill non believers.
