Trust can be both, it just depends on the situation. Trust and make a relationship because you trust the other person to love and care for you and not to cheat on you! Trust can also break a relationship because you trusted that person and they failed to keep their promise.

Makes... if I didn't trust the person I'm going out with, theres going to be quite a few arguments which damage the relationship.

to me trust makes a relationship because if you can not trust someone you really can't love them. because you dont know what they will do

without trust you cant have a relationship, its one of the building blocks you need to be happy and continue a relationship.
