Last week i told a guy friend of mine at work that it would be better that we didn't talk so i can get over my crush on him since he's in a long distance relationship with another girl, as a matter of fact, she's in the Phillipines and he's here in the US. Before this happened, we joked around about hooking up, but then i felt bad and hurt about us joking about it. I told him that i really wanted to do it since i like him, but he has a gf and that it wouldn't be wise if we did it. Anyway, i got angry with him since he didn't respond back to me after I texted him Happy New Year's and I ended up sending him another text calling him a "dog" and that i didn't want to have anything to do with him, then later i apologized via text. Then the next day , I wrote him a letter telling him how i felt hurt about us joking around, and the fact we just treat each other as professionals. He's ignoring me, no hello, excuse me, thank you, nada and i'm thinking he's a jerk.

He wants to have his cake and eat it too. He is probably in love with the girl in the phillipines but figured he could still get his fix with you. It is shocking to me how dumb women are about men and how men are even dumber when it comes to women. the truth, he probably thought he could have a Friends W/benefits relationship with you and still tell his girlfriend he loved her and could wait to see her. Everyone has needs, it isn't right sometimes but we all do it. He was talkin to you with the hope that he could exploit your crush on him and use you for sex!! I am sure that is not what you wanted to hear, but it is the truth. I don't know the guy, don't care too either, but I am sure he said all sorts of things to make you think he was interested in you when you first revealed your crush right or wrong? Once he saw that you were about more he ignored you because he doesn't want anything more. That is why he is being an asshole now. Hope my words help. Give up and find a man who wants to be with you. I am sure you have a lot to offer to the right guy, it just so happens that the right guy is no your co-worker. Ignore it and be professional like you have been doing, he is not worth it.

Its just simple he don't like you and he love his girlfriend even though they are miles apart...and maybe if in case he will cheated on his girlfriend you are not the one okey.....Don't do unto others what you don't want to do unto okey.Move on with your life and omg this questions is reduntant for how many days.I think the opinions of the people here in yahoo answer will all be in one point no matter which day you will post this okey.

He probably thinks your a nut case for sending him all these random texts and chewing him out like your his girl. He's not being a jerk by trying to avoid someone who freaks him out. Did you ever think that your the one being a jerk to him?

Seems he is being a little "jerkish", maybe this no contact is for the best. If you have a crush on him & he is involved with someone else, than you need to just let him go & move on to someone better, someone who is single & can / will spend time with you.
