But why??? you're not building a spaceship... It's food! eat, laugh and enjoy... I'm no science pro just a simple homemaker but you should not be worry about salmonella as long as you put your eggs in cold water and when the water reaches it's boilling temperature, cook for 10 minutes your eggs should be safe. If you're still in doubt, buy pasteurized eggs.

P.S. add some white vinegar in your water it will make it easier to peel the shell.

Put a pin in the shell and rest a thermometer on it .
