Well, it's a part of breakdancing and breakdancing emerged in the late 70's in New York. So, I guess it's hard to pinpoint who invented it. But it's probably like a style or a trend, it's hard to pinpoint who started it, but you know who the original followers were.

The word robot was invented as a part of a stage play called "Rossums Universal Robots" in 1920.

Or is that apostrophe that you used not actually misplaced and the question is about who invented a certain part of a robot.
