As a responsible dog owner you really don't have any choice but as many of your answers point out you don't come into contact with the faeces so - what's the problem?
Personally I'd rather swiftly scoop up dog faeces in a plastic bag than change a nappy and clean a baby's soiled bottom. Have you ever changed a warm, runny, steamy nappy?
If you have children you have no choice - you just do what you have to do! Same with dogs!

Quite easily! Put on a pair of rubber gloves. Take a plastic bag,put your hand inside. Pick up mess. Pull the end of the bag down over your hand, tie a knot in it,and dispose of it in the correct place! Wash hands thoroughly.!!! Simple. Dogs mess is dogs mess, warm or cold! Runny ones can, I admit, be more of a problem, but it still has to be done. If we love/have dogs, its just something you do without question. Part of being a responsible dog owner is cleaning up after them.

Use either a Pooper Scooper or put your hand into a plastic bag, pick it up and it's in the bag!
Besides, some neighbors get a little irrate about poo on their lawns, especially if they don't have a dog. It's the decent thing to do, just like at a public park.....pick up after you dog!

This one made me laugh as I have done it many many times. Thank people for those little doggie waste bags that you can attach to the leash! You get used to it after a while..trust me...except when it's really bad. Out for a walk there is no choice or get fined - you can sneak away but if everyone did this we would be stepping in dog doo all the time!

Take a small plastic spade out or a trowel to shovel up the poo. Then put it in the bag with the poo, so it doesn't get over everything else. If you can bear to touch it, do it the way already suggested.

There are several ways actually. For one, they make a doo doo scoop that picks up the runniest doggy poo. However, I myself use a cat litter scoop with a plastic bag over it and then turn the plastic bag inside out. Seal and toss...issue solved

if you own a dog you just SHOULD. Besides, what better way to warm your hands on a cold day?
I buy large packs of latex gloves from poundland and use one of those. No problem. The turd goes into a carrier bag and binned when I get home.

Place a bag over your hand, but make sure the bag does not have any holes, and scoop it up, then peel the bag off inverting it so the mass is inside and tie the top and discard in the nearest trash receptacle.

My Dad does it, I have no idea. Here I am scent marking and what does he do? Out with a plastic bag and in the bin. Could be because it keeps his hands warm. My mates all say their Dad's and Mum's do it. Strange behaviour.
