I have a 2 year old female she is fixed.
The question is.....I also have a 15 month old male ( fixed also ) He was fixed at 5 months, and ever scince hes been wanting to mate my female. Bitting the neck...and well..you know.....
Both are hybrid cats, except my male is closer to the ',wild '' breed.( an F2 ) I cant make him stop.....maybe hes showing dominance ?

Hi Lucie...whenever neutered/spayed cats mount one another this is exhibiting a dominance behaviour. Cats do this to establish hierarchy as the top/alpha cat. This is commonly witnessed in cat colonies as well as with exotic cats.

If you got your boy cat fixed while he was under 6 months old, he may have still been "growing". Not all cats are still growing by 5 months but some are and that will lead to the "horny" behavior.
Also, some vets don't drain the entire testicle so theres still a little left.

I had an interesting situation just like yours. I had a male "tomcat" who was the most affectionate friendly happy cat I 've ever known. He was castrated and the siamese female was neutered as well. All his life with me he kept trying to jump her bones and she would just stay still while he tried and tried...
After a while, I just ignored it. After all, it's not like anything could come of it. He's just being a typical guy.

They used to play all hours of the night and day. They were best friends/lovers/and sleepmates. Why deny him whatever pleasure he and she got from just trying.

That too(dominance). We had a male (fixed) cat who kept trying to mount the other cats(female). He looked like he was trying to start a motorcycle...lol.Poor little guy....

Just because an animal gets fixed does not take away his desire. Its instinct. Fixed just means that he can't reproduce any more.
