A man was just coming out of anesthesia after a series of tests in the hospital, and his wife was sitting at his bedside.
His eyes fluttered open, and he murmured, "Youre beautiful."
Flattered, the wife continued her vigil while he drifted back to sleep.
Later, her husband woke up and said, "Youre cute."
Startled, she asked him, "What happened to beautiful?"

It's not totally UNfunny...I did smile briefly and hesitantly...
But it is of course sexist, and the reason anyone would find this funny is because they are buying into that tradition of humour (and I include myself in this, because I've been brainwashed by the conditioning to an extent!)
So, it is vaguely amusing but quite sexist humour and I'd prefer something wittier and not sexist!
