what do you do when a guy thinks you have been cheating on him and you havent and he doesnt believe you?

The guy's probably feeling insecure. I mean, it really is tough luck that he doesn't believe you, so you have to give him reasons to. Earn his trust, convince him there's no one else. There is insecurity in every relationship but the thing is to not let it escalate. Ask yourself: have you given him reason to believe you've been cheating on him? Like not spending enough time with him or constantly hanging out with another guy? You said you didn't cheat on him- good for you :) If you like him enough, keep trying to gain his trust and erase this doubt he has about you. Give him time, but not space. The last thing he needs the the thought that you're avoiding him. It spells g-u-i-l-t-y.

THAT is what I do.. A relationship must be built on trust and if my partner cannot trust me .. well then what is there.. sex? phhhhh.. THAT isn't much without trust either in a real relationship.

You cannot prove a negative. Unless he can say, I know you cheated on me Wednesday at 10:30pm and you can show him positive proof that you were somewhere else at that time. But that only works if he can give you a specific time and you were somewhere with other people at that time. Otherwise, he is just being difficult.

Have you cheated on him before? Then, he probably should not go out with you because it is obvious he is having difficulty trusting you now.

How you been completely faithful to him? THEN DUMP HIM! You do not want to spend your life trying to prove yourself to someone. He is insecure and expects you to do it right now.

Do you want to know something really funny? Most people who accuse their significant other of cheating are actually cheating themselves and PROJECTING their OWN behaviour on their significant other.

For example, if you cheated on him, you would prolly be terrified he would find out. So you would watch his every move, hoping that he either doesn't know or isn't cheating himself. Even the slightest behaviour which COULD be percieved as lying or covering up what he was really doing, you would automatically think of as cheating behaviour.

first comes the accusing then the fighting, then the mind games then it's to
