I have a daughter and want to settle down but i don't want to end up with the wrong person, reason being i don't want a divorce.

I got married at 29. Been married for more than 10 years now . 29 was perfect. Old enough to know exactly what I wanted/needed from a relationship and to have travelled and seen a bit of the world. Yet still young enough to have a full white wedding with bridesmaids and all the trimmings and not feel like a twerp!

THERE IS NO IDEAL AGE TO GET MARRIED.
DO YOU HAVE TO GET MARRIED TO SETTLE DOWN?
I THINK A LOT OF THE TIME WE HAVE TO BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT WE HAVE TODAY AND LET TOMORROW LOOK AFTER ITSELF. SURE WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES AND I THINK THE TIME FOR THINKING ABOUT CHANGE COMES WHEN WE ARE CONFIDENT WE DO NOT WANT WHAT WE HAVE HAD.
MARRIAGE DOES NOT SOLVE PROBLEMS AND THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES IN LIFE, LIVE TO BE HAPPY, AND BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.
WHAT DOES "SETTLE DOWN REALLY MEAN ?"
FINDING MR RIGHT IS HARD UNLESS YOU HAVE A CLEARLY DEFINED IDEAL, SO PERHAPS THINK OF YOUR IDEAL MAN AND DO NOT SETTLE FOR SECOND BEST.

If you are asking this sort of Q then you are not old enough... There is no IDEAL age to get married... You get married when you find the right person! Age has nothing to do with it...

28 is a perfect age to get married providing you have met the right partner. I had my second marriage at the age of 31, unfortunately for me, he wasn't the right one.

Ideally I guess a good age would be early to mid thirties - but it all depends on who you meet and when you meet them - theres no ideal age really - just ideal circumstances! xx

I think that's old enough for you to know what you expect in a partner, but I think being "ready" is more of a state of mind. Now that you know you have enough life experience under your belt and have a realistic view of the world, let your heart lead you.
