In America we have a great divid developing in this nation. Wickness verses rightious. As this will get wider and wider we christians need to put on great wisdom and understanding. I propose that in order to survive in this nation it will be required that christians start changing the way we think and the way we live. As the states have sold there souls to the United States federal system for money the states no longer protect the citizens of the states nor there children. I believe it is time for christians to geither into a small state and take over contol of the polital system and the states industry and actual have a state that is christian in its operation. Would you as a christian move to another state in the hope that you will be able to not be harrasted for you faith and were you can actually practice your faith in freedom from the governments trying to educate your children in sin and into wickenss. If a state has 2 Mil population and 3 million Christian move in.

Please allow me to explain this is not my native language so please excuse my error in speeling. A nation is build on moral and if a region of a nation has a moral population as christian are God will bless that region while the rest of the nation is decaying. A christian state would be teaching it children truth and not the none-sence of evoluation. A christian state would not conduct meeting in secret but would operate openly. example in a divorce you would not have any lawyers just two people telling why there should be or should not be a divorce. You would not need a judge who is paid. Because the Judges would be 3 people selected from the population. Thus the cost for government would Go down. In a christian nation the government could not take you children because of witness they paid to lie. The examples are many.

As far is life Goes the federal government gives money to state governments based on population of the state. If 20 million christians moved to a state like Arkansas which has cheap land and actually is close to many larger cities. St Louis, Memphis, Dallas, Tulsa ect. I chose Arkansas just as a example then those chrisitan would infact be able to take over the whole state and run it. You could do away with the politial machine and put in a real government. You also could attract good companies to the area because christian are good workers. The colleges could be free to all the people who live there and the health system as well including dental. You would not have to worry about insurance because the state income tax would be paying for it. Getting rid of the bottom feeders is the key.

Theoretically that is great idea but maybe you should look at the bible again and see what happened when the church controlled the state. Maybe do a history report on the middle ages? However if that were perfection and actually did work hell yes!

Isolationism has never worked and is contrary to the teaching of Jesus. You are suggesting a cult at the state level. Cults can only exist by rule of force and terror, which is not Christian. We are to work within the system that we live in regardless of the hardship. To do as you suggest would kill evangelism, which is one of the key focuses of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You think that you would be happier being surround by nothing but Christian, but you would not be. There is no magic in being a Christian. Christians cannot solve their individual problems by running away from the rest of society and congregating into small groups---this only gets things inflamed. The focus must always be on Jesus and not the comforts of the self.

If the statistics are true, then about 3/4 of The United States of America are Christian. I don't think we'll all fit into one state. I think more Christians, more Americans in general, need to get off their bottoms and do something to make a difference. You can start by voting!
May God Bless you.

An interesting notion, but it has a flaw. We Christians are just as wicked and sinful and fallen as the rest of humanity, and I for one would not put my hope and rest my laurels on a Christian-run state. My hope and trust is in God alone.
In addition to that, I think your post smacks of "retreatism" that is so popular among American Christians today. They move into gated communities and home-school their children when the Bible clearly teaches us that we are to be salt and light to the world, that we are to be IN the world but not OF the world.
We are to be lighthouses of truth, our lives are supposed to be examples to non-believers. How can we be examples to them if we do not interact with them, live with them, talk with them on a day-to-day basis?
Thanks College Prof!

Let me get this straight - _you_ are going to educate children?
LMFAO.
If you are so eager for a theocracy, why not just move in with your buddies the Taliban in Afghanistan? The United States shouldn't have anything to do with the kind of delusional evil state you're proposing.

um... speaking of divide...
edit: reiteration... speaking of divide...
what makes you such a psychopompic A$$ to think that it is better to teach CHILDREN that Genesis is literal!??!?!!?!
It is a symbolic description... much like the Sepher Yetzirah or the Bahir!
If there was a 'State' that was predominantly Christian I would see a great wrath unfolding upon it... One.... Bomb... to sort them out... This is danger-talk.

I was about to post an answer when I read Armygal's. Now I'm just here to applaud hers. Three cheers!!!
Just to add one thing. God allowed persecution in the early church in Jerusalem to get them OUT of their little enclave and scatter them across the known world of their time. No offense intended, Thomas A, but it's not about having the government our way. It's about living our lives God's way in front of those who need to see it.
