Islam code od believes:
Allah (God Almighty) is the only Creator of all that exits.

There is one God (Allah). Jesus is the Christ, miracle birth- and Muhammad (p) is his last prophet, both of them said, "God is One and you have to serve Him with all your heart, mind and strength.

Allah reveals His 99 Divine Attributes and does not compare Himself to any of His creation.

Allah created man from dirt and "in His image" and of "His spirit," yet God has no likeness of anything in creation.

Adam & Eve sinned, then repented and were forgiven, with no continuing effects on their children.

God Forgives Adam and Eve after they repent. Then He makes Adam his deputy (caliph) and the first prophet.

Man is basically good but prone to mistakes. Muslims who repent and submit to God are forgiven without intercession from Christ (or anyone) needed.

Through submission to the Will of God in peace, anyone, anytime, any place becomes a servant of Allah and draw closer to Him.

Allah is not like His creation. He is neither male nor female, nor is creation like Him.

christianity:God Almighty is the only Creator of all that exits. (Gen. 1:1)

There is one God. He exists eternally in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (There is no "Trinity" in the Bible)

God has revealed Himself as "One God" and "One Lord" (Dueteronomy 6:3; Mark 12:29)

God created man from dirt and the image of God (Genesis 1)

Adam and Eve sinned and thus brought sin into the world and their sins passed on to their children. (Genesis 3:1-7)

Original Sin - all of Adam's posterity are born with a sin nature and are sinful from birth (Romans 3:22-23, 1st John 1:10)

Man is by nature sinful and has need for redemption by the atonement of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:6, 8:32, Colossians 1:19-20, Hebrews 7:26-27, 9:26, 10:12, 1st John 4:10)

Through the work of Christ, God adopts Christians into His family and calls them His children (Romans 8:14-15, Ephesians 1:5, Galatians 4:5)

Bible says; "God is not a man... not the son of man.." (Numbers 19:23) Other places contradicts this(?)

Forgive me if I say this does not appear neutral, nor is it a question.

I know you are probably re-acting to something you've read here, or maybe planting seeds. Still, would it not be best to truly BE and LIVE your Imaan with love? "those who have gone astray will NEVER find the straight path unless Allah wills it." If you'd posted just the perspective of Islam, I would applaud you. But bashing their faith is NOT what the Prophet (Saw) would do - he said "let the people of the book live among you. IF they attack you, fight back." So we fight on attack my sister.. until then, we love, we guide.. can't guide when we're not asked...

I wish you well and that Allah bless you for your intention is in the right place. Perhaps the process chosen was just not the best. Faith in Christianity is based alot on "feeling"; and just like us, they feel attacked when we compare them. Let's stick to one on one, to loving others until Allah chooses to call them to Islam, & IF he does, then surely they are of the chosen ones. I wish not to criticise you excessively, but felt a gentle correction was in order.

Salaam Wa'Laikum... blessings to you.

Assalaamu alaikum to all!
Thank you for posting all that up! It's interesting!
Wow.... So thank God I'm a Muslim since Islam says all humans are born pure and sinless!
But I'd like to question... "God is not a man... not the son of man.." (Numbers 19:23)
I mean, then why do they say Jesus is God or God is Jesus or Jesus is God's Son?.... Interesting contradiction.
Peace and blessings be upon all!

Wow, there are some similarities and difference with them both.

As a religion, I find Christianity to hold truths that resonate with the human condition and it's salvation.

There is no "work" of Christ. Christianity is about a gift God gave us. Freedom. We Christians are free and are never bound to do any "work". There is no sin that has not been paid for. Faith is all that is required.

With all respect, I believe Allah is a false prophet and thus his teaching are meaningless. Similarities there may be, but Islam falls short of mans condition and his salvation.

Dear poor lost soul. I am a Christian we believe in one God. there are no contradictions in the Bible just many people who lack understanding. Let me first quote you...Allah created man from dirt and "in His image" and of "His spirit," yet God has no likeness of anything in creation. Man was according to you created in the likeness of God with a spirit. Which surely does describe the likeness of God as animals have no spirit and die with their flesh. The first and only God told us in the book of Moses what this image of God was when he created man from the dirt and breathed in a spirit and the two became a living soul. This image of God is clearly plural and together body and spirit become a living soul singular as in Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one God. Your argument is with no man but the God that created you. You will not find one Christian that will argue with you that there is but one God as it is our belief that there is one God. It is not a contradiction to say there is one God any more than it is a contradiction to say you have flesh and spirit but are one person.
Now if man is not born with a sin nature I encourage you to show me the man without sin. Again there is no argument You could show me Christ and I will show you the Son of God. I am amazed the Numbers 19: 23 says that God is not a man or the son of man as the 19th chapter of Numbers ends with verse 22 and there is no such verse as 23. God Bless You may you find the truth.
