why is my points going down? wat did i do to it? tell me how to get it up and y is it going down?

Everytime you ask a question, you lose 5 points. When you award a best answer, you get 3 points back. Answering questions gets you two points. Full explanation of the points system here:

Have you answered a question that has then been "deleted for content" ?
Sounds like there are 1 or 2 bugs in the Yahoo point-keeping software.
Oh well- keep answering questions, it's good karma as well as point gathering.

Your points go down because you ask questions. So don't ask questions. Answer questions only.

when you ask a quesion you loose 2 points when you get it resolved you gain 3, if you get a violation you loose like 10 or 11 points.

you are asking questions -5 for each question initially.
you can get the points back i think through various means
