You don't have to feel anything special, but you can feel the joy about being saved. I was saved when I was about 5, and so I don't remeber all that happen, or if I felt anything great. A lot of times I wondered if I was actually saved, so I would pray that Jesus would come in my heart again. I did this serveral times b/c I didn't feel anything. But feelings is a very tricky thing, and can't be taken as facts. Maybe you don't FEEL that you are saved and have Jesus in your heart, but the fact is is that if you have accepted him in your heart and believe in what the Bible says as truth you are a born-again believer. No one can change that fact. That day when you ask Jesus into your heart you are a child of God, and no one can ever take you from him again. You can read about this in 1John 5. It will show you how you can tell if you are a born-again believer

You will feel something when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Some describe it as a sense of relief, others say it is a sense of conviction because you suddenly realise how wicked you've been. (The God / The Holy Spirit opens our eyes to this when we receive Him into our heart.) All of a sudden something you thought was OK...just fine will reveal itself for the evil that it is. For instance, I was in a rock band, and then I got saved and found that I could no longer sing the songs I'd been singing. I didn't think the songs our band did were evil but then I got saved and my eyes were opened to how wicked those songs really were. Or television shows I used to watch and think are OK...suddenly I see the sin in them and can't bear to watch them any more.
Basically, if you can knowingly sin and not feel the nagging of the Holy Spirit while doing it then you are not saved. God will want us to give up some sinful things and of course, our flesh won't like that and will fight against that. You should feel a battle going on inside you between the flesh and the spirit. The spirit wanting the things of God and the flesh wanting the things of the world.
Rom 7:13 ¶ Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

I am a Christian. When I first accepted the Truth of Jesus into my heart, I did not feel different. A relationship with Jesus is NOT based on feelings, but on a choice. Do you accept His gift or do you not. Later after learning more about Jesus, I know now that I love Him, and I know as well that as I get to know Him more I will love Him more. But I believe that the relationship with Jesus needs to grow like other relationships we have with people...The difference is Jesus loves us immediately and unconditionally...we are the ones that have to work on the relationship.
Feelings can be misleading, you have to know in your mind then feel with your heart
hope this is helps.

some people say they don't feel differant, being saved is not a feeling, its a free gift, what you chose to do with the free gift after you got it your life is up to you. You should find a church so other may benefit from you and you may benefit from them, but not everyone feels differant, this does not mean you are not saved.

Heh, sometimes you have a spiritual feeling. Sometimes you don't. Your measure simply is your belief. Feelings come and go.
Sometimes I "feel" 'how can God possibly be with me ?' but when I search his word I know that he is despite how I feel at the time.

Yes, if you are truly saved you will feel different. You have a repentant heart, and a honest desire to do God's will and to please Him.
If you want to know if you are saved, look at the fruit of your life. What has changed?
