This question is not sexually related btw. Having been single now for about 2 1/2 years, with many friends who are couples or married, I was thinking of the simple things I miss about being in a relationship? To start you off, I would say - Having to drive to most functions, not being able to ask someone elses opinion when buying presents, hugs on the lounge during a DVD. These are a few simple examples, but I was wondering what everyone else thought? Thanks

I think one of the big things about not having someone there beside you is the friendship/companionship.
The snuggles are nice, the warmth of your partner beside you is wonderful. Having someone there to talk with, to tell your little troubles to, to ***** to without any severe consequences (tell I'm a female yet? lol)
Things I would NEVER do on my own are:
Going to the movies
Going to a restaurant
Things I really try to avoid:
Weddings/parties
And it always seems like your friends are trying to match you up with someone they know, just so you can have a partner.

enjoy your present .. if your single then enjoy that every single day,because above you have just mentioned the plus points of having a bf but there's another side to everything.Right now there's no one to give you a 'do s and dont s ' list.(your free). make new friends,pamper yourself,make it a point to work out everyday and aim to get a smokin body.. go out for lunches and have girls night out. You are complete by yourself and when the time is right there will definately be the right kinda guy who will come along ;)

I can drive myself to a party, the only opinion I need about gifts is that of the recipient, and I prefer to watch DVDs with my girlfriends — or alone. In retrospect, getting too close to a guy was the worst thing I've ever done.

well i was "single" for almost 8 yrs after i left my ex of almost 20 yrs
the things i missed the most are right up there with yours
snuggles and cuddles /
soft kisses in the morning
the breath on your neck as you spoon your way to sleep
the touch of a hand across your shoulders as you do the dishes
