say someone wants to contact me from abroad and i live in scotland wht digits would they have to dial first? the code for aberdeen where i live is 01224 but whats the code for britain?

The code for the U.K is +44, so if i were to call you from my country, it will be +44-1224-(then your number). Good luck!

they'll need to dial their international direct dial access first, in most counties this is "00" (on mobile phones you can use "+" symbol !!) and then dial the 44 for UK, and then your full number without the first "0", so

00 44 1124 xxxxxxxx

or +44 1124 xxxxxxx
