No, it's hasn't, but the misuse and overuse of the word "love" has cheapened it. What often passes as love, just isn't.

love in the new age has lost its TRUE meaning! the kind of love thats missing is the one to die for. today, no one cares anymore and only think about themselfes! its a sad story but its true. love has gone and the feeling of lust has taken over. everything is about sex and pleasure. love isnt about anything like that. its about the small things. like scratching the partners arm while watching a movie, making breakfast in bed, doing small things that can really be appreceated! now, actions are empty and feelings is shallow. as soon as the sex is crappy the "love" dies with it. if there was more love in the world, i woulnd be shitty like this...

and if there is any kind of passion left in ove, then its really rare. you dont find that everyday. so if you feel you got the realy love, then hang on to it. if something bad happenes, work it out! dont loose your love. keep it going, even if hurts the ones you love. love should never be lost

I do think in a sense that it has because of all the stereo-type that is put on it from TV, commercials, books, movies, music,,,,,it is not just love anymore,,,,,for example,,,,he isn't a good guy if he doesn't go to Jareds,,,or zales,,,,because that's why every kiss begins with K,,,,??WHATEVER,,,?????

I think true love is out their and when it is meant to be it will,,,,I think alot of times people tend to rush love and not grow with it as a couple,,,as partners,,,, instead we grow individually,,,and worry what this one and that one is doing and not doing instead of appreciating what we have in front of us,,,,,which could be love but we try to change it and make it like everyone elses relationship,,,,and it doesn't work out,,,I guess the point I am trying to make is that,,,,,,we need to really look and appreciate all the little things in life and from our partners,,,instead of thinking we need to see that greener grass on the other side of the fence,,,,,,,

THAT WAS A REALLY GOOD QUESTION
THANK YOU,,,,FOR LISTENING,,,,,

love is not losing its meaning and it will never happen. you need to understand the word love first before you can ask that question.
love is a very broad word and it has different faces. we have the love for our friend, love for our parents and siblings, love for our country, love towards the opposite sex, etc.
as what we can find in 1 corinthians 13:

Love is long suffering,
love is kind,
it is not jealous,
love does not boast,
it is not inflated.

It is not discourteous,
it is not selfish,
it is not irritable,
it does not enumerate the evil.
It does not rejoice over the wrong, but rejoices in the truth

It covers all things,
it has faith for all things,
it hopes in all things,
it endures in all things.

Love never falls in ruins;
but whether prophecies, they will be abolished; or
tongues, they will cease; or
knowledge, it will be superseded.

Love is love.
We, men and women lost our meaning. Are we a kind of human being? Who can say?

Yes I do, but I think the opposite can be said for the word hate.

Happy new year.
