get the wrist weights and shadow box with them and you will notice overtime that your punching speed improves. i do martial arts and a bouncer and my hand speed is very quick even compared to boxers that i work with. but take care not to use too heavy weights as you can strain ligaments and cause painful injuries

Yes. Shadow boxing with dumbells is a good way to increase your speed and flexibilty. As long as the dumbells aren't to heavy, it's a good workout to do. Ringside, where i get my boxing equipment from, actually makes dumbells specifically for shadow boxing and they are 1 and 3lbs. Go to Ringside.com for more info.

Yes use a small 1kg in each hand. If you go heavier it will teach your muscles unnatural movements. Try 2 rounds with weights then 2 without, Should make you quicker.
Or try using a resistance band behind your back, I find this actually works the muscle you use to throw a punch.

yes. It will increase your speed and strength. Also if you do it the right way it will help you to keep your hands up in the later rounds when you are tired.

but not too heavy, cuz you will may loose technique (weights may make your hands drop)...cuz you want to bring your hands back high so you dont get counter punched over the top.
