we are already organising a family function for them......
they are not in a position to go out due to their commitments at home and providing nursing would not be an option for them.....

What about organising a family portrait for them? Photo's are something that is always well received.

Or you could get a really nice photo of your Aunt and Uncle, and frame it very nicely

If you are a crafty type of person, what about making 2 pillows. Embroider or sew 50th Wedding Anniversary and their names on it?

Whatever it is you decide to get them, I hope they have a wonderful time for their anniversary. They sound like very special people.

Get together will family and friends. pick a weekend and write up a baby sitting schedule for 48 hrs. Then send them to a posh resort for 2 days.

If u hv the money u can even engage a planner to do all the things for u.All u need is $650,000 dollars and i can arrange all the palns and will gurantee u yr money will be well spent. If interested, u can just put a deposit of $200k and the rest upon the completion of the party.

i think you can maybe take them sight seeing and cook them a nice dinner yourself. you said they don't get out that much, maybe thats exactly what they need! get someone to look after their children and take them somewhere nice and quiet! i'm actually already looking forward for them!
