I have been with my girfriend for about 2 years and 3 months now. We have definately had our ups and downs; but got through them. I love her so much, and I know that she loves me, but things happen that make me question if our relationship is healthy. We have taken a huge step and moved with eachother to a different state. I know that she is feeling home sick and misses her friends....so on. However, some of the issues that have arrived after we got here, makes me think there is more going on. Communication has always been a huge issue between us, i try and ask her how she feels about certain things including living out here as opposed to where we were, and she tells me that she is happy here and wants to stay here. Her actions are completely different majority of the time. I am just completely confused as to what to believe, her words (which seem genuine), or her actions. What is more difficult, my family doesn't care for her much due to her actions, and she doesn't care for them.

Sit down and talk with her. Maybe something else is bugging her. Let her know you want her to be happy all the time, in action, in words, that you want to see it in her face. Why did you move anyway? Don't care too much about what other people say about her. What matters is that you are with the person you want to be with. Because you are the one who is going to be living with her. Communication is really needed in a relationship. Tell her you don't want your lives together to go bad...

The short answer is, no, love is not enough. Love changes over time, and if you don't have all the rest of it working for you, then it's not going to make it.

Love is not enough, it's the beginning but not the whole thing, there is so much more.
