Exercise to be performed depends on age & availability of time, space. You can do simple free hand exercises while seating front of system by rotating neck on both the sides, rotating both the hands by bending at elbows.Further, bending forward & backward while seating on the chair will give relaxation to spine.Similarly rotating ankles at both the directions with twisting at left & right sides will keep your spine mobile. Walking exercise for a person who is below 35 is not sufficient. You should jog. if you do not have sufficient space you can jog on the spot also. Walking is good for persons having plus 50 or having blood pressure or heart problems.

You can do stretching and walking exercise during the day in office time by climbing the staircases and walking in the office. Eat small meals instead of a heavy lunch. Exercise for atleast an hour on Saturday and Sunday in a Gym.

Swimming is the best as it covers the entire body and it is very relaxing. After sitting in front of system for such a long time will result in lot of muscles becoming higly inactive.Swimming takes care of these.

Your walking will certainly be good for your cardiovascular system, and walking is a good exercise.

However, you may wish to consider doing something to strengthen your upper body region, weights, swimming and rowing all come to mind. Whatever you go for, find something that you ENJOY, so that you stick with it.

i think 5 kms walk is sufficient for cardio, now you ned to do some resistance training (light weights) and abdominal exercise, because sitting for long can make your muscles sluggish and tummy lil out.
