That's one question I don't think anyone can answer, but you're brave for trying to ask. There's so many theories, like God does it so that the Western World realises they can be humane and helps them out. This is like starting from Adam and Eve where everyone looked out for one another. The view is that God built us and the world but leaves us to our own devices and what happens as a result is down to us. But I don't think it's fair to say those starving children is yours or my fault. If God could fix every bad situation, then there would be too many people trying to make bad things happen, because they knew they'd be fixed. Maybe it's like a survival of the fittest, fitting with the theory of evolution. But I don't believe humans evolved from bugs or anything like that. It's a difficult question to answer, and I would return with 'because he doesn't exist' but I think something must. In which case there is no real answer, we can only speculate.

God exists. Do not blame God for satan's wicked acts and man's sinful desires. People in Africa are starving because people are eating somewhere else. Their resources have been exploited and has made other nations richer. There is no money to build schools to train the people and no jobs for those who want to work and can work. This is why children and their parents die in Somalia. Blame the weak leaders. Blame the international exploiters. Blame the united nations and the red cross. Why do we continue to invest in these corporations when they do so very little to nothing, as far as help goes. Nothing has been provided to help them advance and play on a leveled playing field. Life is just a game; the poor are losing and the rich are winning. God is the coach who helps you improve your way of living. Satan and the rich will show you how to cheat, rob, steal, and kill in order to win the game called life. Play to win.

well in this situation we r the one's who can help those people and be sure everything happens for a reason and there must be somthing or some reason for it and god knows what he is doing and if they were not happy in this world they surely be happy in that world and i think the reason of that is so we can thank's god for what we have and know there r people that r starving when we r eating and that makes us feel sorry for them and don't only think about our self

Only humans can change it. But they refuse to help. If there is a God, and if he did give us free will, then he cannot change it. He left it up to us to take care of eachother, and to take care of the planet. But we can't do that. America is a gluttonous, dirty, and greedy country. As long as fat, greedy bastards have all the money, famine will not cease.

Allah has created all that we call the universe as a test for us. This is not our final destination. What we might consider to be "bad" or "good" could actually be quite the opposite. As regards oppression, this is something that Allah forbids for Himself to do to anyone and He hates it when anyone oppresses someone else. He does have absolute power over everything. He allows sickness, disease, death and even oppression so that we can all be tested in what we do.

If you see a battered up car, and you ask the one who made it, "why did you make it like this?" They would answer, "It was made well, just got messed up by the one who drove it and crashed into something." It's the same with God. He made a perfect world. We look at it today, and ask him why he made it this way. But it was us who messed it all up. It isn't God's fault for he made a perfect world, but we humans were the ones who messed the whole world up with our sin.

who told you spiritual growth comes from happiness, comfort, ease?

its when we are starving, sad, injured, messed up that we most need a belief/hope in something in god or whatever??

Thats the point of hope. Why would any god/force create nothing but happiness for us - when happiness does'nt lead to anything, when happiness is it's own end?

He's not a genie, nor did he put the children in that position. mankind did and mankind is also very capable of doing something about it, but they don't do they? they are too busy being greedy, selfish, lazy and blind to the reality that it's us humans to blame for our own demise.

Alms are for the poor who are detained in the way of Allah and are unable to move about in the land. The ignorant man imagines them to be free from want because of their abstaining from begging. Thou shalt know them by their appearance, they do not beg of men with importunity. And whatever of wealth you spend, surely, Allah has perfect knowledge thereof.

And when it is said to them, 'Spend out of that which Allah has given you,' those who disbelieve say to those who believe, 'Shall we feed him whom Allah would have fed, if He had so willed? You are but in manifest error.'
